The NEW YORK Executive Desk

FEATURES: The New York executive desk has a beautiful walnut finish, a thick leather-like in-laid writing surface, a concealed center drawer embedded within the executive desk top, side desk drawer and file drawer cabinet, and wiring inlets on the desk top for telephone and computer cables that are routed through concealed wiring channels. This office desk features a return-credenza which has 2 file drawers, 2 standard drawers, a computer cabinet, and a slide-out printer cabinet with fold-back slide-in doors (exception: the 6'7" model return-credenza has one standard & file drawer). All drawers in this executive desk have thick leather-like linings and central locking systems. All file drawers have steel file frames to accommodate American letter and legal size Pendaflex™.

Optional DESKTOP PLUG & PLAY: Our jazzy computer connection sub-panel (6 slot) provides easy and convenient desktop hook up to your A/C power, notebook computer, video monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer, telephone, data network, camera, usb drives (thumb drives), speakers, mic and other devices making hookup to all these devices easy. There is no more need to reach under your desk and move computer to hook up these devices when they are now easily accessible right on your desktop. Outlets for AC power, data and telephone are now connected at your desktop eliminating the need to reach behind or under your desk.

The New York Executive Desk elegantly combines conservative and contemporary styles. This American walnut executive desk is made with a very bold 3" thick desk top, making a statement of a solid financial foundation. Our New York modern desk will impress everyone coming into your office.

STANDARD AND SUPREME TOPS: We have designed the New York Executive Desk in 2 models: our Standard Executive Desk model (shown in the top right photo), or our Supreme Executive Desk with a level desktop that extends over the return-credenza (shown in the top left photo). The Supreme Executive Desk Model has another concealed embedded desktop drawer in the extended desk top.

CLASSIC MODEL The New York Classic Desk has no side return-cabinet. This desk have a small drawer cabinet on the left and right sides. Each drawer cabinet contains a standard size drawer and a hanging file drawer. In addition, the executive desk top has a central embedded keyboard or executive drawer. this is a perfect configuration for setting up one of our Supreme Credenzas behind the desk.

MATERIALS ENGINEERING: We craft our New York executive desks with the worlds finest German hardware sliders concealed under the drawers for better performance and appearance. The drawer frames within this quality office desk are made above standard with 5/8" thick solid wood connected with "fingergrip dovetail" joints (the highest quality connection in office desk cabinet technology). We use AAA quality real American walnut wood veneer, scratch and water resistant top coat paint, and premium "E1" environmentally safe MDF as our core material (our MDF is 3 times stronger than less expensive particle board) for our New York modern desk. We manufacture our executive desks to bring you the best value for your money, and quality control our products to perfection with our own team of QC inspectors stationed throughout the factories.

DESKTOP COMPUTER PLUG & PLAY: Included with this optional computer connection desk sub-panel are the following connectors and corresponding cables.
1 - DVI and 1 - VGA monitor connectors and two monitor cables
1 - Duplex A/C power (dual outlet sockets) and power cable
3 - USB-a connectors and cable for mouse, keyboard, camera, thumb drives, etc.
1 - Telephone connector and cable
1 - Data network connector (Cat 5) and cable
1 - Printer connector (USB-b) and cable
1 - Stereo socket and cable for speakers, mic

FLIP-DOWN KEYBOARD DRAWERS: one of jazzyexpo’s innovative design concepts is our  flip-down drawer fronts on the concealed drawers embedded into the desktop. If the user prefers to use the drawer for his computer keyboard and mouse, he can flip down the front of the drawer to create a comfortable palm-rest for easy use of the keyboard and mouse. For extended use as keyboard drawer, the drawer may be closed with the palm-rest in the down position. If the user prefers to use the drawer as a pencil or document drawer, the user keeps the drawer front in the up position. This flip down keyboard drawer is available only in the Supreme desk models with the computer connector panel option.

CONCEALED DRAWERS IN DESK TOPS: jazzyexpo designs its desks with concealed drawers embedded into the desktops. These drawers may be used for computer keyboards and mice,  pens and pencils, or documents. The Standard desktop models have one concealed drawer in the main desktop. The Supreme desktop models are equipped with a concealed drawer in the Main Desktop and another in the Return Desktop. When the Return drawer is open, working legroom is available under the keyboard drawer. Keyboard and mouse wires are run over the top of the back of the drawer to the computer.

WIRE GROMMET HOLES IN THE SUPREME MODELS:  jazzyexpo desk models that are equipped with the computer connector panel option, have our artistic designer wire grommet hole and cover installed on the Return desktop and the Main desktop to provide direct access into the computer and printer cabinets below. This allows you to install one or more video monitors or other equipment directly on the Return top or on the Return side of the Main desktop without having wires running on or around the desk.

CONCEALED SOFT CLOSING DRAWER SLIDING HARDWARE: jazzyexpo uses state-of-the-are drawer hardware so that any of the box drawers and hanging files drawers on a desk drawers may be opened without the unsightly look of exposed hardware on the sides of the drawers. Our drawer systems use concealed hardware mounted below the drawer to suspend the drawers. Our drawer hardware also allows the drawers to be pushed closed without slamming shut. Our drawer hardware includes springs and pneumatic devices that are activated within the final 2 inches of closure to slow the drawer down and then softly close the drawer automatically and quietly. This soft closing drawer hardware system has handles mounted below the drawers to allow the drawers to be easily removed and replaced for cleaning or to reach items that may have fallen behind the drawers. Thumbwheel adjusters are also provided under the drawers to easily level them when they become heavily loaded.
