The WASHINGTON Supreme Large Wood Desk

Optional DESKTOP PLUG & PLAY: Our jazzy electronic connection sub-panel (6 slot)provides easy and convenient desktop hook up to your A/C power, notebook computer, video monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer, telephone, data network, camera, usb drives (thumb drives), speakers, mic and other devices making hookup to all these devices easy. There is no more need to reach under your desk and move computer to hook up these devices when they are now easily accessible right on your desktop. Outlets for AC power, data and telephone are now connected at your desktop eliminating the need to reach behind or under your desk.

The professional wood desk has traditional styling. The dynamic double-contoured desk top encompasses you for easy access. Its bold professional desk design and 3.5" thick desk top edge provide the presence and dominance of a commander in chief. Elegantly styled with handcrafted quality, the Washington DC wood desk is selectable in 2 models: The Washington DC Standard or the Washington DC Supreme.

WASHINGTON DC SUPREME DESK: The Washington DC Supreme Professional Desk features a main desktop with a built-in side credenza which can serve as a side desk top as well. This professional desk also comes with a built-in 3-drawer cabinet on the opposite side of the attached credenza, and concealed drawers embedded into the main desktop. The side-credenza features 4 standard drawers, 2 hanging file drawers, a computer cabinet, and a printer cabinet with fold-back doors that slide into the credenza.

OTHER FEATURES: Our Washington professional desks have beautiful hand polished American walnut veneer coated with scratch and water resistant finishes, a thick in-laid leather-like writing surface, and wiring pass-throughs on the main desktop for telephone and computer cables, routed through concealed channels to the desktop. All drawer and door handles are milled into surface.

AMERICAN ENGINEERING: All desk models are engineered by jazzyexpo in California. Our state-of-the-art suspension desk engineering provides the largest amount of space under the desk for your freedom of movement: Unnecessary desk legs behind the desk, which restrain your movement, are eliminated in our designs. All drawers are lined with soft, thick black leather-like material on the bottom (for noise control when you throw your keys or metal objects into the desk), and have central locking systems. All file drawers have steel file folder frames that accommodate American letter and legal size Pendaflex™ hanging folders. We have thought of everything and included it for your enjoyment and pride of ownership.

MATERIALS ENGINEERING: We craft our professional desks with the worlds finest hardware sliders concealed under the drawers for better performance and appearance. The drawer frames are made above standard with 5/8" thick solid wood connected with "finger grip dovetail" joints (the highest quality connection in cabinet technology). We use AAA quality real American walnut wood veneer, ultra high quality Italian scratch and water resistant top coat paint, and premium "E1" environmentally safe MDF as our core material (our environmentally safe MDF is 3 times stronger than less expensive particle board). We manufacture our professional desks to bring you the best value for your money, and we quality control our products to perfection with our own team of QC inspectors stationed throughout the factories who oversee every material and process (Note: We do not allow particle board or unsafe toxic materials to be used in our desks).

DESKTOP ELECTRONIC PLUG & PLAY: Included with this optional electronic connection desk sub-panel are the following connectors and corresponding cables.
1 - DVI and 1 - VGA monitor connectors and two monitor cables
1 - Duplex A/C power (dual outlet sockets) and power cable
3 - USB-a connectors and cable for mouse, keyboard, camera, thumb drives, etc.
1 - Telephone connector and cable
1 - Data network connector (Cat 5) and cable
1 - Printer connector (USB-b) and cable
1 - Stereo socket and cable for speakers, mic

FLIP-DOWN KEYBOARD DRAWERS: one of jazzyexpo’s innovative design concepts is our  flip-down drawer fronts on the concealed drawers embedded into the desktop. If the user prefers to use the drawer for his computer keyboard and mouse, he can flip down the front of the drawer to create a comfortable palm-rest for easy use of the keyboard and mouse. For extended use as keyboard drawer, the drawer may be closed with the palm-rest in the down position. If the user prefers to use the drawer as a pencil or document drawer, the user keeps the drawer front in the up position. This flip down keyboard drawer is available only in the Supreme desk models with the electronic connector panel option.

DUAL CONCEALED DRAWERS IN SUPREME DESK MODELS: jazzyexpo designs its desks with concealed drawers embedded into the desktops. These drawers may be used for computer keyboards and mice,  pens and pencils, or documents. The Supreme Desk models are equipped with a concealed drawer in the Main Desktop and another in the Return Desktop. When the Return drawer is open, working legroom is available under the keyboard drawer. Keyboard and mouse wires are run over the top of the back of the drawer to the computer.

DESIGNER WIRE GROMMET HOLES IN THE SUPREME MODELS:  jazzyexpo Supreme desk models that are equipped with the electronic connector panel option, have our artistic designer wire grommet hole and cover installed on the Return desktop and Return side of the Main desktop to provide direct access into the computer and printer cabinets below. This allows you to install one or more video monitors or other equipment directly on the Return top or on the Return side of the Main desktop without having wires running on or around the desk.

CONCEALED SOFT CLOSING DRAWER SLIDING HARDWARE: jazzyexpo uses state-of-the-are drawer hardware so that any of the box drawers and hanging files drawers on a desk drawers may be opened without the unsightly look of exposed hardware on the sides of the drawers. Our drawer systems use concealed hardware mounted below the drawer to suspend the drawers. Our drawer hardware also allows the drawers to be pushed closed without slamming shut. Our drawer hardware includes springs and pneumatic devices that are activated within the final 2 inches of closure to slow the drawer down and then softly close the drawer automatically and quietly. This soft closing drawer hardware system has handles mounted below the drawers to allow the drawers to be easily removed and replaced for cleaning or to reach items that may have fallen behind the drawers. Thumbwheel adjusters are also provided under the drawers to easily level them when they become heavily loaded.
