The Boston quality desk has elegant traditional office styling with quality desk craftsmanship throughout. Its contoured desk top, with a bold 3.5" thick desk top edge, provides a statement of strength to anyone walking into your office. The contoured desk top is ergonomically designed to help keep everything within reach, thereby increasing productivity.

Optional DESKTOP PLUG & PLAY: Our jazzy computer connection sub-panel (6 slot) provides easy and convenient desktop hook up to your A/C power, notebook computer, video monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer, telephone, data network, camera, usb drives (thumb drives), speakers, mic and other devices making hookup to all these devices easy. There is no more need to reach under your desk and move computer to hook up these devices when they are now easily accessible right on your desktop. Outlets for AC power, data and telephone are now connected at your desktop eliminating the need to reach behind or under your desk.

FEATURES: The main Boston office desk section has a beautiful scratch resistant finish, an in-laid writing surface, a concealed embedded desk-top center drawer, a side desk drawer and file drawer cabinet, and cable ports on the desk top for telephone and computer cables. This quality desk includes a matching return-credenza, has 2 file drawers (letter and legal size), 2 standard drawers, a computer cabinet, and a slide-out printer cabinet with fold-back slide-in doors. All drawers are locking.

STANDARD AND SUPREME TOPS: We have designed the Boston desk with our standard desktop (see standard desktop with matching legs in top photo) or our Supreme model with a level desktop that extends over the return-credenza. The Supreme office desk model has another concealed embedded desktop drawer (see Supreme top with black legs in second photo).

SIZES: 4 sizes to fit your need with the included return-credenza, or with our optional Supreme return-credenza top. For the best presence and appearance, select the largest office desks that will fit your office and coordinate it with our matching wood & leather office chairs. The frontal dimension shown below is the width of the desk.

COLOR: American walnut veneer with our chestnut color finish and top coat. The legs are available with matching wood veneer or in black color. All drawer and door handles are milled into the drawer fronts.

AMERICAN ENGINEERING by jazzyexpo in California: Our state-of-the-art desk suspension engineering provides the largest amount of space under the desk for your freedom of movement: Unnecessary desk legs behind the desk, which restrain your movement, are eliminated in our designs. All drawers are lined with soft thick black leather-like material on the bottom (for noise control when you throw your keys or metal objects into the desk), and have central locking systems. All file drawers have steel file folder frames that accommodate American letter and legal size Pendaflex folders. We’ve thought of everything and included it for your benefit.

MATERIALS: Our office desks are crafted with the finest soft closing drawer sliders (with auto-closing) concealed under the drawers for better performance and appearance. The drawer frames are made with above standard 5/8" thick solid wood connected with "fingergrip dovetail" joints (the highest quality in cabinet technology). AAA quality real wood veneer, Italian scratch and water resistant top coat paint, and premium "E1" environmentally safe furniture grade MDF as our core material (our MDF is 3 times stronger than particle board).

DESKTOP COMPUTER PLUG & PLAY: Included with this optional computer connection desk sub-panel are the following connectors and corresponding cables.
1 - DVI and 1 - VGA monitor connectors and two monitor cables
1 - Duplex A/C power (dual outlet sockets) and power cable
3 - USB-a connectors and cable for mouse, keyboard, camera, thumb drives, etc.
1 - Telephone connector and cable
1 - Data network connector (Cat 5) and cable
1 - Printer connector (USB-b) and cable
1 - Stereo socket and cable for speakers, mic

FLIP-DOWN KEYBOARD DRAWERS: one of jazzyexpo’s innovative design concepts is our  flip-down drawer fronts on the concealed drawers embedded into the desktop. If the user prefers to use the drawer for his computer keyboard and mouse, he can flip down the front of the drawer to create a comfortable palm-rest for easy use of the keyboard and mouse. For extended use as keyboard drawer, the drawer may be closed with the palm-rest in the down position. If the user prefers to use the drawer as a pencil or document drawer, the user keeps the drawer front in the up position. This flip down keyboard drawer is available only in the Supreme desk models with the computer connector panel option.

CONCEALED DRAWERS IN DESK TOPS: jazzyexpo designs its desks with concealed drawers embedded into the desktops. These drawers may be used for computer keyboards and mice,  pens and pencils, or documents. The Standard desktop models have one concealed drawer in the main desktop. The Supreme desktop models are equipped with a concealed drawer in the Main Desktop and another in the Return Desktop. When the Return drawer is open, working legroom is available under the keyboard drawer. Keyboard and mouse wires are run over the top of the back of the drawer to the computer.

WIRE GROMMET HOLES IN THE SUPREME MODELS:  jazzyexpo desk models that are equipped with the computer connector panel option, have our artistic designer wire grommet hole and cover installed on the Return desktop and the Main desktop to provide direct access into the computer and printer cabinets below. This allows you to install one or more video monitors or other equipment directly on the Return top or on the Return side of the Main desktop without having wires running on or around the desk.

CONCEALED SOFT CLOSING DRAWER SLIDING HARDWARE: jazzyexpo uses state-of-the-are drawer hardware so that any of the box drawers and hanging files drawers on a desk drawers may be opened without the unsightly look of exposed hardware on the sides of the drawers. Our drawer systems use concealed hardware mounted below the drawer to suspend the drawers. Our drawer hardware also allows the drawers to be pushed closed without slamming shut. Our drawer hardware includes springs and pneumatic devices that are activated within the final 2 inches of closure to slow the drawer down and then softly close the drawer automatically and quietly. This soft closing drawer hardware system has handles mounted below the drawers to allow the drawers to be easily removed and replaced for cleaning or to reach items that may have fallen behind the drawers. Thumbwheel adjusters are also provided under the drawers to easily level them when they become heavily loaded.
